Different Museum

Richard and I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sunday.  It was a gorgeous day in the city.  People were playing with their dogs in the park.  Children were on scooters and the streets were crowded with tourists.  It is surprising, the shopping bags I saw were from Hollister, the Gap and Juicy Couture; all places they could probably shop at near home.

Thursday, Suzie & I went to the Metropolitan Opera to see Capriccio.  The singing was wonderful, the opera not so much.  If there had been an intermission, we both would have left.  The premise seemed pretentious, two men arguing over which is more important poetry or music.  At times 10 people were singing different things at the same time which became a cacophony.

Only three more school days and I am on spring break!  I hope all the wet weather we are having his week means that next week will be nice.
