Laundry & more laundry

This was a laundry weekend as you can tell by the title. I just finished the final load. Yesterday I had to run down to White Plains to have pre-op blood work done and on Tuesday I see the doctor for an EKG so I can be certified for surgery. I have the skin cancer surgery next Monday and the plastic surgeon will do the repairs on Tuesday. I just hope this is the end for a while (or permanently).

Andrea at Support Connection asked if I would be willing to run a knitting & crocheting class once a month, it would start in January. I said it was OK to put it in the newsletter. Now I just see if anyone signs up. I was also asked to start the knitting group at the high school again. I told them that as soon as all my medical issues are over I would do it again. I have some new people who want to learn to knit and/or crochet.

While I was on hold waiting for one of my doctors, I counted up in my calendar how many doctor/lab/test visits I have had since the whole nonsense began. I was shocked to see that the second surgery next Tuesday will bring me 126 medical trips in less than a year. Unbelievable! I knew there were many but I never thought that many.
