Radiation is over!

The radiation was finished on Thursday! The doctor stopped it not only because I was burning so much but also because she was afraid that any further radiation would cause problems with the reconstruction. The current thinking seems to be for less radiation so that shouldn't be a problem.

I got the results back from the biopsy yesterday and unfortunately it was positive. I will be having out patient surgery on November 17. Let's just hope this is the end.

I have so many knitting & crocheting projects in the works right now I don't know what to pick up. I am making another shawls in a lovely garnet. I still have to finish the cape I am making for Suzie. The cape had gotten so long that when the weather got so warm it was too hot to work on it. I started a baby sweater for a friend's new grandson who is due in December. I also started a baby blanket for Suzie's friend's baby. The sheep & wool festival is on the 20th and 21st at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds so I can replenish my stash. I just find it so hard to decide what to purchase when there over a hundred vendors have such wonderful yarn. I just go crazy over the colors & textures. I want to touch everything. I am certainly a yarn junkie.
